1. I'd like to start off by saying that I have enjoyed my time (even though internship isn't over yet) there at the San Diego Writer's Ink. I feel that the contribution I made to this work place is both big and small, but still meaningful overall. Making those advertisements, putting up the classes on their website, and doing marketing really helped out their workplace as they are too busy with other things to get what I had done, done.
2. Working there as an intern has been a real experience for me and I can definitely say that I have grown in my education for when I go back to school. By that I mean that with writing I have learned new techniques to use in my stories, in my essays, and for the future career that I want to have when I am older. Learning how to communicate with authors and editors in a professional manner will help me in the future be able to talk to those higher up than I am and get the feedback I need for that assignment or future career. 3. I talked about this a little in the paragraph above, but to continue off of that I truly do feel that this experience has taught me so much from learning how to figure things out without help of a classmate or teacher to being able to go on a website I'm not familiar with and figure out within thirty minutes. Beyond school and beyond this internship my future career with writing that I want; becoming an author, a magazine editor, and a journalist. This work was meaningful because it's helping know where exactly where I want to go in life. 4. I didn't have a main project for my internship; as I felt that the main project itself was to work as an intern acting as if it was a real job in a real workplace because in real life there isn't one project to focus on, there are many little things that come together to make the overall goal. However, making a commercial for the writer's ink had started out as an idea that soon grew into a real project I worked on through out my internship. Along with making a blog and writing prompts and lastly, overall making sure everything got done. The picture below is for this paragraph: and 5. I learned two main things about myself during my time at internship. One, is that I'm more resourceful than I originally thought; being able to figuring out things that I was unfamiliar with, learning new material quickly and that all lead up to me being able to create new ideas and blogs out of things that had already been done before. The second and last thing I've learned about myself is that I have grown much more confident over the past month and I feel that truly is an accomplishment for me because I normally very shy, but talking to the employes that work there and working with them have helped me build up my confidence.
