Self - Evaluation
1) What is your most important content takeaway from this American Dream 2.0 Project? How has it impacted your thinking?
That each writing piece we do needs drafts upon drafts to make sure that it flows nicely. Writing an essay isn't one and done, it needs corrections and constant feedback. It has impacted my thinking by focusing more on the little details of writing because it will matter and stand out in the end. Also, knowing the history material when writing it and sitting my sources for the essay to understand the 70's (my topic) better. 2) What is your most important production takeaway from the American Dream 2.0 Project? How has it impacted your skill set? That the little details of each thing that I did will show through the work I've done. It has impacted my skills set of knowing how to manage my time better. It has taught me that a deadline and everything has to be organized ahead of time. 3) What part of the Project did you find most challenging? How did you address this challenge? The part that was most challenging was communication between my class and the other class. It was challenging figuring out what to help them on, when I couldn't find/speak to them. I addressed this by speaking to them before class or when class starts. 4) As writing as huge element in this project, what connections, if any, do you see between your work in this project and your growth as a writer? My growth as a writer changed greatly throughout this project because I wouldn't have made that drafts, but I realized that more drafts makes better quality. |
