1. The new appreciations I developed while working as an intern is that I appreciate my teachers more than I already do because I realize that they have just as much paperwork as my mentor does. My teachers along with my mentor are not machines and they deserve help even if it's something small as doing some filing because it could help them out in the long run. Another appreciation I developed was the appreciation for authors and editors. I knew that they worked for years to finish their book, but I didn't know the entire process they went through; going into these classes and having people read their drafts and chapters out loud and telling them that they need to correct it. It's very inspiring and makes me appreciate the authors who work almost their whole lives to publish a book for people to read and get inspired by.
2. The qualities and characteristics I saw in the people around me in the workplace are mainly patience and determination when it comes to working with people who are difficult. I want to develop that patience when things get difficult when working in groups or in partnerships in myself for the future. I want to do that because I feel that it will make things a lot easier when it comes to projects later in life and in my future career. 3. My view of life beyond high school changed a good amount during my time as an intern. I realized that I've always had a one track mindset when it comes to my future career, which is to be an author when I'm older, but after this experience I realized that there's many other careers I want to do as well. I want to continue writing, but as a journalist, a magazine editor, or maybe even become a film director after working with iMovie creating the video you saw before. Making my own art and continuing to practice my drawing after seeing and being inspired by the art during my time there. 4. Internship has influence the direction of my life to focus on writing even more than I do now, but to branch off of just wanting to focus on being an author. That I should branch out my writing to something where I can still write, but do other things that interest me. Like the jobs I said above I want to add becoming a video game designer to that list because I want to make a video game with a good story plot behind it and to have a story plot; there has to be a writer to make it happen. 5. Communication at work influenced my understanding of professional working environments by making me realize that everyone has an important role to play no matter how big or small and even the simplest of tasks can make everything easier. When someone isn't being corporative, you just have to be mature about the situation and work with what you have.
